Spring Edition of Restaurant Week Launches Monday

An event that lets people enjoy a gourmet meal and help a charity is launching a spring edition for the first time. 

Las Vegas Restaurant Week starts Monday and goes through March 4. This spring more than 100 restaurants from around the valley will be offering special meal plans for a special price all to benefit Three Square. Some of the best restaurants in southern Nevada will be offering multi-course, prix fixe menus. The prices will be $20.12, $30.12 or $50.12 with a fixed portion of the money going to the charity.

Three Square works with food banks around the Las Vegas valley to provide food to those in need. The annual Restaurant Week expanded to include a spring edition because of its popularity.

Restaurant Expanding Inside Station Casinos

A popular Mexican restaurant is expanding into three new Station Casinos’ properties.

Cabo Mexican Restaurant will open additional locations at Sunset Station, Boulder Station and Aliante Station. The restaurants are set to open by September 29. With the new locations, there will be a new menu with expanded combo meals, guacamole made tableside, and seven new entrees.

The place will keep its popular all-you-can-eat tacos. To celebrate the opening, all Mexican restaurants in every Station Casinos property will offer the deal. Days of the week and times the special is available will vary by restaurant.

Valentines Day Dining at the Top of the World

Top of the World at the Stratosphere is 'elevating its cuisine' with a new chef and a new menu. The wine list here may be the most reasonably priced in town! The filet was fantastic. If you like seafood, you've got to try the Cod. Melt in your mouth delicious. Of course the view steals the show. The room rotates as you dine in the sky.

The Fat Greek is located on Decatur near Flamingo. This family run business knows how to do traditional Greek food, but brings in some nice fresh twists too. You will not leave hungry! Two people can eat there for less than $50 dollars and you'll have a doggie bag too. Leave room for dessert. Good sweets here.
