Car Club Organizes Fundraiser For Rodriguez Family

Car Club Organizes Fundraiser For Rodriguez Family

LAS VEGAS - A Las Vegas family devastated by a fire that claimed a mother and father received some help from complete strangers, Saturday.

Members of the Lowrider Style Car Club rolled up their sleeves and organized a car wash to help cover funeral expenses.

Polo Rodriguez and his wife Claudia were on the minds of dozens of volunteers.

None of them knew the mother and father who were killed when their home caught fire.

"We are total strangers," said Randal Brown, organizer of the event. "I don't know, they don't know me, I seen it on the news what happened" I felt from my heart, we got to help them out, I got my club members involved, reached out to the community and we've had an outreach, it's unbelievable," Brown added.

Volunteers washed and scrubbed car after car.

People who came to the car wash felt touched by the tragic story and wanted to help too.
