Bricks Piled High for Cash and Prizes

The world's best bricklayer was crowned during a competition Wednesday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The contest was part of the 2012 World of Concrete trade show. Contestants had to set up and lay bricks as if they were working on a real construction site. The only difference was they had to finish their jobs as fast as possible. The fastest bricklayer was Ray Robinson from Gainsville, Florida. He walked away with $100,000 in cash and prizes plus the keys to a new truck.

More than 20 teams from around the world competed for the title.
