Barbershop Chorus Performing at Winchester Cultural Center
Arts & Culture

A barbershop harmony chorus The Gamble-Aires will be coming back to the stage with a show at the Winchester Cultural Center this weekend.

The show is at 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10. The Gamble-Aires has not performed at the Winchester Cultural Center in a decade. The new show is titled “Back in the Old Routine.” The group was created in 1960 by a group of airmen at Nellis Air Force Base. Since then, they’ve performed together as a chorus and separately in barbershop quartets.

The show at the Winchester Cultural Center will be a vaudeville-style performance with iconic songs from the height of barbershop popularity. People can buy tickets at the center, online at clarkcountynv.gov or from a member of the Gambler-Aires.
