Doctor sues Antonio Brown claiming he repeatedly farted in his face and owes $11,500 on bill

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Antonio Brown has seen his fair share of drama over the past couple of weeks, and now the NFL star is facing another lawsuit. A Pittsburgh area doctor is the latest to file a lawsuit against the former Raiders wide receiver. Dr. Victor Prisk’s claims Brown repeatedly farted in his face and laughed about it during a consultation.

TMZ obtained video of the Aug. 2018 appointment in which Brown can be heard farting and laughing about it as Prisk tests his body fat.

Man dies of wounds after Sunday shooting

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man died of his wounds after he was shot on Sunday morning at an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Lindell Road in the southwest Las Vegas valley.

Police responded to the area after gunfire was reported at about 10 a.m., and officers found the man outside an apartment. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died, according the the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigating officers determined that the man had just arrived at the complex before the shooting. Two unidentified black males were seen running from the area, but police have not yet identified any suspects in the shooting.

The apartment complex is just off Tropicana Avenue, west of Decatur Boulevard.

CHECK YOUR POT: Consumers warned not to use moldy batches

LAS VEGAS (KLAS-TV) — Four batches of marijuana sold by Nevada retailers between July 10 and August 28 shouldn’t be consumed, the Nevada Department of Taxation said in a Monday news release.

Consumption of the affected marijuana should particularly be avoided by individuals with suppressed immune systems, the news release said.

The marijuana, sold at retail locations in Las Vegas, failed testing for yeast and mold threshholds.

The names of the products affected are:

  • Gelato #41 (Batch #G41-07102019, Lot#01)
  • Northern Lights Blue Flower (Batch #NLB-06052019, Lot#01)
  • Funky Malawi (Batch #FM-07102019, Lot#02)
  • BWID flower (Batch #BWID052819, Lot#01)

There have been no reports of illness associated with the listed batches, but “health impacts from yeast and mold may exist,” according to the news release... Read More

Elderly couple found dead in apparent murder-suicide

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After receiving a call from dispatch to do a welfare check at a residence in Central Las Vegas Monday morning, Metro Police arrived and found an elderly couple suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Metro Police arrived on the scene and pronounced the couple deceased.

Investigators from LVMPD Homicide Unit reported that the couple were married and lived together at the residence located 4400 block of Thompson Circle.

Additional evidence at the scene indicated that the male shot the female inside their home and later took the weapon to take his own life.

Metro investigates shooting in northeast near Lake Mead and Nellis

LAS VEGAS (KLAS ) — Metro Police are investigating a shooting in northeast Las Vegas. It happened around 3:35 p.m at 4370 E. Lake Mead near Lake Mead and Nellis Boulevard.

Police received a call that someone was shot, and when Metro arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male victim was transported to UMC Trauma for treatment. His condition is unknown.

“Ghost of Project Neon” still lingers with closures starting tomorrow

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Ghost of Project Neon is back, and it’s bringing a Spaghetti Bowl ramp closure to the Valley starting tomorrow night.

The Nevada Department of Transportation is taking away one of the busiest ramps in the Spaghetti Bowl for the next three nights. It’s the ramp from southbound US 95 to southbound I-15.

However, the detour isn’t very different than the way you’d normally get to I-15 from the 95. The closures will occur from 10 p.m. Tuesday night until 5 a.m. Wednesday, followed by the same time frame Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Thursday night into Friday morning.

You’ll stay on the side/collector road from south 95. The difference is that you’ll be coned off at Charleston. Instead of turning left or right at the end of the exit ramp leading to Charleston, you’ll cross Charleston, getting onto south 15 entrance ramp there. ... Read More
