CCSD Surprises Valley High School Teachers with Renovated Lounge
Teachers and staff at Valley High School will enjoy a renovated breakroom, thanks to Goodwill of Southern Nevada.
Superintendent Dwight Jones and school board trustee Lorraine Alderman joined Goodwill representatives during a Monday after-school unveiling. Valley High School is one of more than two dozen schools that Goodwill partners with as part of the Student Work Experience Program (SWEP), offering high school-aged students with disabilities the opportunity to gain experience in a work environment while being supervised and supported by their teachers.
The lounge was furnished with items from Goodwill stores throughout the community and designed with comfort in mind.
